Fly to Redbull...King of the Air Qualifier - Sep 22, 2005 - Sep 24, 2005

We would like to thank everyone who made the "Fly to Redbull... King of the Air Qualifier" in Traverse City, Michigan a huge success. Special thanks to Red Bull and Broneah Kiteboarding for inviting us to this exciting event.

Dux Boats were the official rescue boats for the qualifying event. With over 30 kiteboarders riding on Thursday, almost 50 on Friday, and fierce NW winds, it was certainly an amazing day for kiteboarding in Michigan. High winds and rough waters made it a difficult day for most inflatable boats on Lake Michigan but Dux was up for the challenge, spending almost seven hours on the water each day rescuing stray kiteboards and riders.
